Halloween Forest School (for adults)

Service Description

Join us for an extra special, extra spooky adult forest school session! We'll be doing all the fun normal forest school activities including having a bit of a scavenger hunt around the woodland, chatting and cooking around the campfire, playing lots of fun games, doing some crafting and even learning some survival skills. However, this time there's a bit of a twist- it will be in the dark and all halloween themed! So if you're looking for something where you can dress up in your best halloween costume and have fun with friends/ make new friends but you're fed up of the same halloween parties every year, this might be the perfect night for you! The whole evening takes place in the beautiful (yet spooky) woodland area at Meanwood Farm and you will be greeted on arrival with a headtorch to wear for the evening so you can see where you're going. The area will also be illuminated by a burning campfire and a few fairy lights. All sessions with YWLD are inclusive safe spaces and if there's things you need in place, don't hesitate to reach out to us and let us know and we'll make sure you're able to join in with the session. Forest school is participant led so there are always choices you can make throughout the session to ensure you're having the best time! Costumes are not required, but are very much encouraged! Please do remember it is all outdoors though and will go ahead if it's raining so make sure that you bring warm layers and coats/ swap your ghost sheet for a ghost duvet if it's very chilly. You'll be able to keep warm on the campfire during the evening and we'll be making a special campfire toffee apple on the fire too! Can't wait to welcome you all for a spookiest forest school session yet. There is on site car parking available at the farm and toilet facilities. Someone will meet you at the gate through to the farm on arrival, give you your head torch and direct you to the woods!
